Laminate Flooring
Choosing laminate flooring
A laminate plank is a printed decor paper under a melamine overlay, pressed onto a fiberboard core. Most run 9 by 60 inches, and the boards are 8 or 12 millimeters thick.
Laminate is water resistant. It handles spills that are wiped up in time, and it belongs in bedrooms, living rooms and hallways. Bathrooms and laundry rooms take porcelain or SPC vinyl. Clean it with a mop wrung almost dry, and never with steam.
Its wear rating is the AC class under EN 13329, from AC1 to AC6, and AC3 covers every room in a house. Where the factory states a class for these planks, it is AC5, the heavy commercial class. Most colors have transition moldings in the same color. The stock is held in Deerfield Beach and Orlando.
